We cover a huge amount about the Anglo-Saxons by handling weapons and equipment, handling real artefacts from the time and going through activities that have been designed to represent how they would have been carried out all those years ago.
Who are Historic Workshops?
Historic Workshops travel to schools nationwide, to provide highly-engaging, hands-on learning that is second to none. We pride ourselves in providing a professional service that aims to deliver each workshop to as many children as possible (unlike some other workshop providers, we also provide teacher-led sessions for the children to continue their hands-on learning whilst we are delivering a session).
Most schools we visit re-book us for the following year, or for other workshops that we provide. Since our beginning in 2016, we have seen a huge rise in popularity year on year, which is a true testament to the quality and value of the workshops. In Autumn and Spring 2017-18 and Autumn 2018-19, we were fully-booked 5 days a week! It is essential that you book as early as possible to avoid missing out!
