What activities are available during this school workshop?
Our experienced facilitators will guide students in interactive sessions to unpack the science behind climate change while discussing its wider implications on society and the economy. This workshop also aims to inspire students to consider practical steps to help reduce their carbon footprint, teach them to be eco-conscious and understand the importance of collective action in safeguarding our planet.
Which curriculum topics do we cater for?
Environmental Geography Workshop
Global warming Sustainable living Renewable Energy Climate change
Students will explore the causes of Global warming, such as burning fossil fuels and deforestation, as well as the effects of climate change, such as the Arctic ice melting, drought, forest fires and extreme weather.
They will also look at ways to tackle the threats of global warming by learning about sustainable energy.
What size groups do we cater for?
Up to 35 students can take part in each session. A member of staff is required to be present during the workshop.
