VG Dance and Drumming workshops for primary and secondary schools offer a culturally rich blend of educational and experiential physical learning, promoting an understanding of diverse traditions and histories through dance, music, and storytelling delivering workshops in dance around the world in EFYS, KS1, KS2, KS3 AND KS4 such as; African dance, African Djembe drumming, Indian and Bollywood dance styles, Chinese dance, Flamenco and Spanish dance, Greek dance, Haka Moari, Egyptian dance, Street and Hip hop dance styles, Latin styles and English and European Folk dance.
These workshops allow students to learn the movements, rhythms, and cultural significance behind each dance. Students gain insights into the history, values, and customs associated with a culture, fostering respect and appreciation for diversity through performing arts and music. In addition to physical activity, these workshops often involve storytelling, music, and traditional attire, creating an immersive experience that encourages creativity and self-expression.
