Turtle conservation and karma
While contributing to a local turtle conservation program, you'll learn how many Thai Buddhists view freeing captive animals – such as turtles – as a way to accrue good karma, assist with cleaning turtle tanks and turtles, treat any wounds that the turles may have and collect morphological data.
You'll also receive a talk on turtle conservation and gain insights into why turtles are protected by the royal family.

We work alongside communities on local initiatives. Your group will reflect on the debates around international development and engage with local community members to understand context. You’ll also have discussions about white saviourism.
