Why should you consider Discover the World for School Trips and Educational Visits?
The Eternal City of Rome is often a first-choice destination for historians or artists, as the birth place of one of the world’s greatest and most influential civilisations and the place where many of the world’s most renowned artists created their masterpieces. But Geographers may be surprised to know that Rome also has a different story to tell. For thousands of years, Roman people have taken advantage of their geographical location to build a distinctive city and in return the land has been changed by the will of the people.
As a team of former teachers and geography subject specialists, you can trust Discover the World Education to showcase students an unexpected side of Rome, off the beaten track, beyond the marble and into the marshes. You will look upon historical and modern wonders through the eyes of a geographer in this city where physical and human geography meet.
As well as the major sites, students will get to understand the incredible story of Circeo National Park and tour along the river Tiber, the life blood of the city.
