Example Itineraries for our 2026 trips

Looking for some inspiration for your Spanish language trip to Peru? The following are a few suggestions for what you might like to do and see on your trip, but the experience can be tailored to your groups specific requirements.

Upon arrival in Lima, students will begin the first day of their new adventure with a visit to the Larco Herrera Museum, which has an significant collection of pre-Columbian artifacts. After exploring the museum, take some free time to relax or explore nearby areas.

The second day begins with a Spanish language lesson. The experience of your group and their proficiency levels will determine how this lesson is run, but the workshop can focus on practical vocabulary and conversational skills relevant to their trip. In the afternoon guided tour of the Island of Palomino to view wildlife and a traditional fishing community. Alternatively, a visit to the Museum Pedro de Osma to get a sense of the country's artistic heritage.

The third day of your Peru school language tour will take you to the Sacred Valley to soak up some Incan archaeological sites. Practice some Spanish language at the Pisaq Market. Then enjoy some local cuisine in the evening.

On the fourth day take a trip to a local village to see real rural Peruvian life. As with many countries, life away from the cities can be very different. Your students will have the opportunity to interact with local residents, learn more about life in the area, and get some more language practice.

The fifth day is a visit Machu Picchu (you knew it was coming at some point), this ancient Incan citadel is nestled high in the Andes mountains and is a must see on any trip to Peru.

The sixth and final day includes visits to the San Blas District, and another Spanish lesson designed to reinforce vocabulary and conversational skills related to their experiences in Peru.

Transfer to the airport for the journey home.
