Learn the key principles of recycling: reduce, reuse, recycle while working with the local community to upcycle discarded items into toys for local schools. You'll also discuss local views on recycling and associated environmental issues.

Women's Empowerment

Staff at a local NGO will teach you how to make Nepali- and Tibetan-style dumplings, aka momos. While wrapping your momos, the SASANE staff (an organisation that combats human trafficking) will talk about their organisation's work and their views on women's rights.

Learn about the rich multi-ethnic culture of Nepal through a Nepali dance class. As part of the class, you'll learn about Nepali values, culture, history and traditions.
