Morocco is the perfect destination for school trips as it's packed full of geography and culture. Whether your exploring the Sahara Desert or the Atlas Mountains.
Our school tours to Morocco tend to be taken over 5, 8 or 11 days and involve a huge variety of different activities and experiences.
Arabic and Berber are two fascinating languages spoken in Morocco, along with French. Students can practice their foreign language while learning the nuances of the others.
Day 1: Marrakech
Arrival transfer from the airport to your hotel for dinner and good nights rest. If there is time you can go for a swim!
Day 2: Todra Gorge
Make our way to Todra Gorge with a stop to visit the irrigation wells dating back to the 14th century and which run for over 300km. Todra Gorge is 1000ft high and is also known as Morocco's Grand Canyon.
Day 3: Sahara Desert
You have a great day ahead as we go to Merzouga for a camel ride into the desert. After enjoying the sunset in the Saharan dunes, return to camp for a night of local food and music and sleep under the million star sky.
Day 4: Ait Bennhadou
Before leaving the desert we will trace desert plants and learn how they have adapted to the harsh conditions. Onto Ait Bennhadou to see and tour ancient Kasbahs which date back to the 11th century. Many films have been shot here including Gladiator, Jewel of the Nile and Lawrence of Arabia.
Day 5: Marrakech
Early morning to traverse the High Atlas Mountains on our return to Marrakech. Enjoy a city tour and experience its Medina full of shops selling spices, leather and traditional crafts. Visit a pharmacy and have a final lunch in the Djemaa-el-Fna before returning to the airport for your flight home.
