Example Itineraries

5-Day Trip to Greece

Day 1
Take your flight to Athens this morning.
Meet your local tour escort and transfer to Thorikos and Laviro where you will enjoy some free time to explore.
This afternoon you will make your way to Cape Sounion where you will visit the Temple of Poseidon with a guide.
Arrive at your accommodation in Athens where you will take your evening meal.

Day 2
After taking breakfast at your accommodation, you will make your way around Athens using the metro system.
Visit the Acropolis Museum this morning, home to a number of historical findings in the area, including Carytides.
You will then walk to the Acropolis and the Theatre of Dionysos.
This afternoon vist the Ancient Agora of Athens, followed by Monastiraki with its famous flea market.
Return to your accommodation this evening for dinner.

Day 3
Take breakfast and check-out of your accommodation before boarding your coach.
Visit Delphi and the Sanctuary of Apollo. You will also visit the Musuem of Delphi, home to the famous bronze statue of the Charioteer.
Continue your journey to Olympia where you will check-in to your accommodation and enjoy your evening meal.

Day 4
Take breakfast and check-out of your accommodation.
Enjoy a tour through the remains of the Ancient Olympia complex.
Make your way to Nafplio town by coach where you will check-in to your final hotel and enjoy your evening meal.

Day 5
Take breakfast and check-out of your accommodation.
Take a guided visit of Mycenae, boasting Cyclopean walls and the tomb of Agamemnon with the famous Lion's Gate.
Transfer to Athens Airport for your flight home.

Which Curriculum Subjects do we cater for?

Students can immerse themselves in Ancient Greek culture by exploring the hub of architecture, politics, athletics and philosophy, gaining a sense of the influence of Greek history on Western Civilization. They will visit the home of Greek Gods and the original Olympic games as well as view preserved artefacts in the museums of Delphi and the Acropolis.

Students will visit preserved ancient architecture including temples and awe-inspiring statues of Greek Gods, boasting intricate lines and attention to detail. They will also visit a number of viewpoints where they can observe stunning land and cityscapes, here, they may wish to practice their photography or sketching skills to capture the beauty of Greece.

Students will be able to understand the continuing influence of Greek civilisation on Western culture by studying what remains of Classical Greek civilisation through visiting wondrous architectural and historical marvels. They will gain an understanding of the land that inspired many historical poets and playwrights.

Greece is home to some of the most iconic and influential architecture in the world, dating back thousands of years. From the ancient temples and theaters of Athens, Olympia, and Delphi to the Byzantine churches and monasteries of Meteora and Mount Athos, students will be able to see first-hand the development of architectural styles and techniques over time.

Greece is considered the birthplace of Western theatre, with iconic playwrights like Sophocles, Euripides, and Aristophanes laying the foundation for dramatic storytelling. Greece is an exceptional destination for performing arts trips due to its rich history, cultural significance, and deep connection to the performing arts.


What size groups do we cater for?

We can cater for groups from 10-100. The majority of our groups are 40 students and 4 or 5 teachers which fits nicely onto a coach when travelling to activities.

Yes, we will always try our best to cater for any special requirements, please ensure you discuss your requirements with us. It may not always be possible, but we will always look for alternatives where we can and be open and honest with you about it.
