** HISTORY TOUR **
Day 1. Morning flight. Transfer to accommodation. Afternoon visit to Checkpoint Charlie Museum.
Day 2. Guided visit to the Berlin Wall Documentation Centre. Visit to the Reichstag Dome and the Jewish Museum
Evening meal at Hard Rock Cafe
Day 3. Guided visit to the Stasi HQ followed by a visit to Wannsee Villa.
Evening meal at the TV tower.
Day 4. Guided visit to the DDR Museum with some free time for shopping. Return to the accommodation before transferring to the airport for return evening flight.
** ART TOUR **
Day 1. Morning flight. Transfer to accommodation. Afternoon visit to C/O Berlin - museum of photography and design.
Evening visit to the Reichstag Dome
Day 2. Guided visit of the Checkpoint Charlie followed by a visit to the Hamburger Bahnhof Museum for art from 1960-present. Dinner at Hard Rock Cafe.
Day 3. Old national Gallery - Neoclassical, Romantic, Impressionist and early Modernist art. In the afternoon visit the Intoxicated Demons gallery of young contemporary artists and Pigasus a small Polish Poster gallery.
Day 4. KW Institute of Contemporary Art with some free time for shopping before returning to the accommodation and the transfer to the airport for the return evening flight.
There are numerous opportunities for Art in Berlin. Time for sketching and photography by the students can also be included.
** SCIENCE TOUR **
Day 1. Morning flight and transfer to accommodation. Guided tour of Central Berlin covering the key historical sites. Dinner at the hotel with an optional evening visit to the Reichstag Dome.
Day 2. A morning at the German Technical Museum on a guided visit followed by a "hands on" afternoon at the Spectrum Science Centre. Evening meal at the top of the TV tower in Alexanderplatz.
Day 3. A visit to DESY - a particle physics centre with different research aims to CERN.
Return for some free time followed by dinner at Hard Rock Cafe.
Day 4. Before the return journey there may be time to visit the Life Science Learning Lab, the Sony Centre at Potsdamerplatz or the Ritter Sport Museum.
Alternatively extend your visit to fit more in - Archenhold Observatory or the Ottobock Science Centre to "Discover What Moves Us"
