French Immersion in Montpellier

Our French language school in Montpellier is located in the city centre, close to the famous Place de la Comédie. The school is located in a 17th Century building with reception area, well equipped classrooms, local information centre and roof-top terrace. Lunch is provided at the school each day after lessons.

All teachers are university-qualified native speakers who will design the content of the French lessons to meet your curriculum requirements. Outside of French lessons, your students will be encouraged to practise using their French with native speakers.

French lessons normally take place in the morning allowing time in the afternoons to explore the city. We have 5-day, 6-day and 7-day itineraries available.

Staying with carefully selected host families completes the total immersion French programme. All host families are carefully selected by the accommodation officer in Montpellier and all host families have a clean police record. Host families meet their students from the airport and accompany them to the school on the first day.

Group leaders will receive the profile of each and every host family selected for the school group before they travel. All host families have access to the group leader’s contact details whilst abroad as well as to a 24h emergency contact number. All allergies and dietary requirements are considered before arrival.

Day one - flight to Montpellier, meet coordinator and host families and transfer to accommodation for evening meal.
Day two - Breakfast with host family. French lessons at LSF Language school. Lunch at school.
Guided walking tour of Montpellier. Evening meal with host family.
Day three - Breakfast with host family. French lessons at LSF Language school. Lunch at school.
Excursion to the Odysseum - choice of cinema, Aquarium, ten pin bowling. Evening meal with host family.
Day four - Breakfast with host family. French lessons at LSF Language school. Lunch at school.
French cookery workshop. Evening meal with host family.
Day five- Breakfast with host family. French lessons at LSF Language school. Lunch at school.
Transfer to airport for return flight to the UK

The minimum group size is 10 paying students. We offer 1 free teacher place for every 10 paying students.

With prior knowledge to booking we can arrange a tour that takes into consideration any students with disabilities.

The content of the language lessons are designed to meet the learning outcomes of the particular school group. We put the group leader in direct contact with the Director of Teaching at our partner language school so that they can discuss lesson content and the level of the students before they arrive. In class, students will experience lots of speaking and oral communication exercises. Language lessons are delivered in closed groups and if there is more than one age group or language level then a number of groups can be formed.
