Example Itineraries for our 2026 trips
On the first afternoon your group will take a guided tour of Beijing's historic Hutong district to explore traditional alleyways and learn about local life. This will be followed by a welcoming banquet of authentic Chinese cuisine. It is also an opportunity for students to experience local hospitality.
On the second day, a guided visit to the iconic Great Wall of China. Your students will have the chance to walk along the wall taking in breathtaking views and learning about it in a historical context. In the afternoon the group will be treated to an exciting local show.
The third day is a walking tour of Tiananmen Square. Following this visit the Forbidden City, with time to explore grand halls and find out more about China's imperial history. In the afternoon, your group will visit the Olympic Park where they can see the Birds Nest and Water Cube stadiums.
On the fourth day your itinerary includes a scenic cruise along the Huangpu River and views of the Shanghai skyline. You have the opportunity to visit the Oriental Pearl TV Tower or enjoy some shopping along Nanjing Road whichis one of the worlds busiest shopping streets, filled with shops, boutiques, and vibrant city life.
The fifth day includes a look at China's waterways with a day visit to Zhujiajiao, which is a floating village known for its ancient bridges, canals, and classical architecture. Your group will spend the night here experiencing rural Chinese hospitality.
On the final day, the group will transfer to the airport for their flight home.
