Projects Abroad

Home / Trips Abroad / Care Volunteering in Sri Lanka

With its ancient temples, varied colonial history and rich ecosystems, the charm of Sri Lanka is incredibly inviting. However, following the devastating effects of the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami, the country is still trying to pick itself up and progress forward into the future. The momentum of this progress will be carried by the next generation and so, Projects Abroad is working hard to give these children the best start in life. Through a variety of mind-stimulating games and educational activities, your students will play a significant role in helping the children of Sri Lanka to learn the skills and knowledge required to progress into the next phase of their young lives.
