Home / Trips Abroad / Care & Conservation Volunteering in Costa Rica
Situated between the huge landmasses of North and South America and hugged by both the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, Costa Rica is a relaxed and diverse and the country boasts some of the most rich and diverse ecosystems on Earth. With such a variety of landscapes to enjoy, you never have to look too far to satisfy your inner adventurer.
Our Care & Conservation project allows your group to experience all of the best qualities that Costa Rica has to offer. In your first week, the group will be working in the Barra Honda National Park. Here you will learn about the variety of species present in the park and the various ongoing conservation efforts in place to protect them. You can then choose how you wish to spend the weekend, whether it be exploring the historic capital of San Jose, going on an adventurous hike up a volcano or unwinding on one of the many picture-postcard beaches. Your final week will see the group working with children in a care centre, learning about their culture and their way of life all the while teaching them English and providing them with fun and stimulating activities that are essential to early childhood development.
Why should you consider Projects Abroad for School Trips and Educational Visits?

Each trip is customised and tailored to the needs of your group, so whether you want to combine certain projects or you want to include some more travelling, we will do everything possible to make this happen.
