Example Itineraries
Adaptable Travel pride ourselves on being, well, adaptable! We work with you to tailor make the perfect itinerary, but there is no harm in having a head start. Please take a look at one of our popular itineraries for this trip below:
Day 1:
Travel from the UK to Berlin where you will be met at the airport by your guide, who will kickstart your group off by greeting your group in German! You will transfer to your accommodation in central Berlin. Depending on flight times you may be able to pre-book some activities to enjoy on your first day.
After checking into your hotel, and enjoying any free time you may have your group will enjoy an evening meal, where students can practice their skills by ordering in German!
Day 2:
After breakfast your group will enjoy a morning of language lessons, preparing them for the day's visits ahead.
Following lunch, your group will embark on a guided tour of Berlin, stopping at sites such as the Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate and the Holocaust Memorial Sites.
After a jam-packed day in the city your group will have their evening meal and some free time, we can organise additional leisure activities such as bowling in the evening.
Day 3:
Your group will again enjoy some morning lessons after their breakfast.
After lunch, travel to the Berlin TV Tower where your guide will walk you through the amazing views you can see at the top. Following this, you will visit the Story of Berlin Museum, where your students will enjoy a guided tour through the city's fascinating past.
In the evening your group will put their language skills to the test once more ordering an evening meal in German.
Day 4:
Your students should now be flying through their morning German lessons!
Following a lunch break, your group will visit the Berlin Wall and Documentation Centre, to experience this famous site. After this, your guide will take you to the Olympiastadium, a unique blend of both old and new Berlin, built by the Nazis, used in the 2006 World Cup, this visit can be lead in German.
In the evening your group will enjoy their final evening meal, and a chance to flaunt their new skills.
Day 5:
Depending on the time of your groups' departure, you may have some free time to explore Berlin in the morning, allowing your students to get some more practice in at local shops.
Your group will transfer to the airport and begin your journey back to the UK.

We are able to work with groups ranging from 15 to 100.
Do you offer access for visitors with disabilities?
We are able to cater to the individual needs and requirements of each group travelling with us. If you have a requirement you wish to discuss please get in touch and we will be happy to assist.
Do you cater for visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
We do. We work with educators who specialise in the provision of SEN, please get in touch to discuss any requirements you may have and we will do our best to assist you.

Who are Adaptable Travel?
Berlin is a truly unique city which brilliantly combines its history with a funky, creative and bustling modern atmosphere. Since the famous fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, the city of Berlin has transformed into a modern hub of innovation, design, and culture and developed its own unique identity amongst the modern cities of Europe.
