Example Itineraries for our 2026 trips

We can offer our set packages or tailor-make your itinerary around your requirements. Below is an example of a popular itinerary, based on 3 days and 2 nights.

Day 1:
Your group will depart the UK and travel to Barcelona by air. On arrival transfer to your hotel and check-in. Depending on the time of your arrival you may have some extra time to explore Barcelona, we can organise activities for your group if this is the case. In the evening your group will enjoy an evening meal at your accommodation.

Day 2: Your day will start with breakfast in your hotel, after which your group will enjoy a 3-hour Spanish lesson in Barcelona preparing your students for an afternoon of activities and a chance to show off their new skills.
After lunch, your group will enjoy an afternoon of sightseeing of your choice, why not visit the Olympic Village for a guided tour or explore the city of Barcelona on a tour of the major sites.
Your evening meal will be served at the hotel, a great opportunity for your students to order in Spanish and put their skills to the test.

Day 3:
After you have checked out of your hotel, depending on your flight times you may have some free time in Barcelona, where your group can use their language skills in local shops and take in some final sights. Your group will transfer back to the airport and begin your journey back to the UK.

Who are Adaptable Travel?

Barcelona is a beautiful city bursting with rich culture, fragrant cuisine and mesmerising architecture, not to mention it's unique historical significance amongst the tapestry of Spain. Learning Spanish is an excellent way for students to explore the history of Spain while also broadening their social and cultural understanding of the fantastic country. Educational language trips not only allow students to strengthen their linguistic skills but offer students a unique chance to sample this culture and develop an appreciation for the country that can only benefit their grasp of the language. A trip to Barcelona is sure to amaze and inspire any student with its rich history, fantastic culture and cuisine and its unique cityscape of historic and modern architectural styles, as the streets of the old and new town dance amongst each other. Our Spanish language trips are completely flexible and bespoke, meaning you can choose from structured classroom lessons, practical sessions around the city and cultural visits which allow students to utilise their linguistic skills in real-life, relaxed situations. Groups can have guided tours of attractions and or parts of the city in Spanish, allowing them to experience the most Barcelona has to offer while developing their language skills.
As a completely bespoke trip you, the group leaders and teachers can determine how much language learning to include throughout your stay, meaning we can cater to whatever level of proficiency from beginners to advanced students.
