Example Itineraries

At Adaptable Travel, we tailor-make the perfect itinerary for your group, based on the requirements and learning outcomes of your trip. However, for a sample of a typical Barcelona Art trip there is a popular itinerary for this trip below:

Day 1:
Your group will depart the UK and travel to Barcelona by air.
On arrival, you will transfer to your hotel in Barcelona and check-in. Depending on the time of your arrival you may have some free time to explore this fascinating city. Why not visit the Camp Nou, home of one of the most famous football clubs in the World, Barcelona FC and the most visited site in across Barcelona.

Day 2:
After breakfast in your accommodation, you and your group will enjoy a half day guided tour of the city. This is led by an expert guide and features some of Barcelona's famous architecture by Antoni Gaudi.
After lunch, your group will pay a visit to one of the most captivating sites in the city, Sagrada Familiar Cathedral.
The evening is yours to spend how you wish, why not introduce your students to some traditional Spanish tapas and soak up the Catalan culture.

Day 3:
After breakfast, you and your students will visit the incredible Picasso Museum, to discover more from the works of one of the World's greatest paintings, in the city he called home for so long.
Breaking for a spot of lunch your group will then travel to Fundacio Juan Miro, a world-leading contemporary art museum, where truly inspiring exhibitions are housed in a fantastic building.
Again, the evening is yours to mould. You can enjoy an evening meal in Barcelona with your group, ask Adaptable Travel for information regarding restaurants and activities.

Day 4:
You will enjoy your final breakfast in the hotel before checking out with your group. Depending on return flight times you may be able to enjoy some free time exploring Barcelona and soaking up some last minute culture and Catalan atmosphere.
Transfer back to the airport, board your return flight home and travel back to your institute.

Again, these itineraries are just a guide and can be extended and tailored to your individual group.

What size groups do you cater for?

We are able to organise tours for groups between 15 and 100.

Do you offer access for visitors with disabilities?

We can cater to the individual needs/requirements of each group travelling with us. If you wish to discuss your requirements with a member of our team, simply get in touch and we will be happy to help.

Do you cater for visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

We do! We work with a number of educators who specialise in SEN provision. Please get in touch with the requirements of your group and we will do our best to advise and assist.
