Valencia boasts the biggest and most famous educational theme parks in southern Europe.
Award-winning attractions such as the unique Bioparc zoo in which visitors are surrounded by meticulous recreations of the natural habitats being presented, the Oceanografic which is Europes largest aquarium with over 500 marine species and the world-famous City of Arts and Science complex will give your students an incredible experience of amusement with exploration.
We can arrange for your school group to be accommodated in modern hostels, quality hotels or with welcoming host families.
Valencia is an untapped educational city. Our family run business with over 15 years of experience in organising school trips, and study tours in Spain will offer your school or college an exceptional experience in this fascinating Mediterranean city.
The City of Arts and Sciences is an entertainment-based cultural and architectural complex in the city of Valencia, Spain. It is the most important modern tourist destination in the city of Valencia and one of the 12 Treasures of Spain.
Bioparc Valencia is a 10-hectare (25-acre) zoo park. The concept of the zoo, called Zooimersion in Spanish, consists of immersing visitors into the animals' habitat and not vice versa. This is achieved by not using the traditional railings and cages that are common in many zoos, using instead rivers, ponds, streams and rocks to separate visitors from the animals. Also, great care has been taking in reproducing the eco-systems, including an important collection of African flora.
The Oceanographic is the second largest complex of its type in Europe, with a surface of 110,000 square metres (1,200,000 sq ft). and a water capacity of 42,000,000 litres (11,000,000 US gal). This includes a 26,000,000-litre (6,900,000 US gal) dolphinarium and a 7,000,000-litre (1,800,000 US gal) ocean tank with sharks, rays and other fish. There are 45,000 animals of 500 different species including fish, mammals, birds, reptiles and invertebrates — amongst these are sharks, penguins, dolphins, sea lions, walruses, beluga whales, and more — all inhabiting nine underwater towers. Each tower is structured in two levels and represent the major ecosystems of the planet.
