Woodland Ways Bushcraft Residentials - Derbyshire
School Trips @ Woodland Ways
As industry leading experts in wilderness bushcraft and survival training, our instructors will guide your students through a range of skills and interactive experiences that provide a gateway into a fascinating subject that reconnects us all with our ancestors.
Here at Woodland Ways, we provide fully-catered, residential bushcraft trips which can be tailored to your exact requirements and will provide your students with not only lasting memories and new skills but a different view of the world around them.
Bushcraft encompasses an endless range of topics and with each discipline there is vast scope for study. If required trips can be fully linked to the modern curriculum or just left as a fun reward but either way don’t be surprised to see team-working, creative thinking, self-management and reflective learning intermingled with a great time in the woods.
Why book Woodland Ways for Residential School Trips and Educational Visits?
Fire, food, shelter and water would have been at the forefront of our ancestor’s minds when living in the wilderness. Do your students have the knowledge and skills required to make it through a night or two in the woods? Join us on one of our Derbyshire Bushcraft residential trips and get a chance to find out!
All of our sessions and programmes are designed to be fun and accessible. Where applicable, links are drawn between the national curriculum and the task in hand, so students and teachers see the benefit of applied learning, and how their classroom studies relate to the natural world.
Beyond the curriculum and adventurous elements of bushcraft, our programmes provide students with the opportunity to develop skills and have new experiences that transcend the traditional benefits of classroom-based learning. With team-work, self-esteem and confidence being at the forefront of what we do at Woodland Ways, many students learn that they are capable of tasks they never thought possible.
