We have implemented the following to ensure we are COVID safe:
- One headset per child during each workshop (we can adjust how many headsets we bring in based on the size of your bubbles)
- Headsets are cleaned thoroughly between use with antibacterial wipes
- Social distancing is maintained at all times
- You can make a provisional booking without any cancellation fees*
Our workshops are COVID safe and are a fantastic way of taking children on school trips, without leaving the classroom. Please enquire about our detailed risk assessment and we'll be more than happy to send you a copy.

Our workshops are a great way of bringing the curriculum to life without the hassle of organising a school trip!
During our Around the World VR workshop, your class will use VR headsets to compete by identifying the following:
- Bonus Question
Each team will be provided with an A1 map which they can use to help them identify countries and landmarks.
Following on from this workshop, your pupils can write a travel blog about the different locations they've been to. Our literacy bundles include lesson plans, example texts and LKS2 and UKS2 writing checklists.
Curriculum topics available: Creative writing.
At PrimeVR, we understand how difficult it can be to inspire children with their writing. We aim to create excitement by virtually transporting your class around the world (in a quiz style format, using VR!). Give VR a go and see how it helps with creative writing!
Following on from our workshop, you can download our literacy lesson pack, which encourages children to write about their favourite place around the world. Each lesson pack includes an instruction sheet, model text and writing checklist (relevant to LKS2 or UKS2).
Curriculum topics available: Map and atlas.
PrimeVR can bring your geography/maps topic to life by flying your class around the world. Using virtual reality headsets and working in teams, they'll be required to work out where they have been transported to. They'll gain points for naming the country, city and landmarks as well as bonus points for general knowledge.
We cover the following topics using VR:
Rainforests, Space, Egyptians, Mayans, Volcanoes, Wonders of the World, Under the Sea, WW1, Polar Regions, Digestive System, Romans, Stone Age, Mountains, Americas, The Tudors, Vikings, Circulatory System, Africa, Animals, India & Beyond, Journey Across China, The Respiratory System and Around the World.
In line with government guidance, we can deliver a maximum of six workshops throughout the school day with a maximum of 15 pupils in each workshop.
We bring in 16 headsets and each pupil will have their own during the workshop. Each headset will be cleaned thoroughly with anti-bacterial wipes in between each use.
We recommend workshops lasting a maximum of 30 minutes.
Yes. We've worked with a number of SEN schools and the response/feedback to VR has been fantastic.
"Before the day, Stuart was very prompt in his emailed correspondence and accommodating to suit our requirements. John was a really pleasant chap
who delivered the sessions world map sessions in a calm, fun manner and had a natural rapport with the children. I would certainly recommend PrimeVR to any school groups."
Around the World
"Stuart and Chris from PrimeVR were brilliant and great with the children. They delivered 6 Around the World quiz sessions throughout the day at our library. The children and parents absolutely loved it especially the competitive element to it. The Around the World quiz is a really fun way for children to learn about different countries and places. We had loads of positive feedback from all the people who took part. Stuart was excellent at keeping in touch prior the event which made organising the event very easy. I would highly recommend PrimeVR."
