Why are Equity great for School Trips and Educational Visits?

trip icon

Take the time to visit the Eden Project – the world's largest greenhouse – and experience first-hand the climates experienced in the most exotic regions of the world. Learn about the history of the smugglers and how they used Cornwall to maximize their potential, or simply take in the breathtaking views offered at the longest continual coastline in England.

A trip to Rick Stein's Cookery School or one of the local family bakeries will give you a hint of the delicacies on offer, or go on a fishing expedition and catch your dinner yourself while observing some of the most stunning coastline available in the U.K

What activities are available during group visits?

Eden Project
Dubbed the 'Eighth Wonder of the World' by some, Eden is a dramatic global garden housed in tropical biomes that nestle in a crater the size of 30 football pitches.

National Maritime Museum
Known for celebrating the sea, boats and Cornwall but the South West’s Visitor Attraction of the Year is diving even deeper and exploring Under the Sea.

Lost Gardens of Heligan
The stunning Garden of Heligan will provide a unique view of nature and natural habitats as well as conservation and protection. An excellent excursion for a science trip to Cornwall.

The National Lobster Hatchery is one of the few marine biology laboratories in the world that is open to visitors. Discover first hand the fascinating progression of a lobster from egg to adult and learn about our own conservation and research work.

Blue Reef Aquarium
The Blue Reef Aquarium in Tynemouth offers many group visits to suit all age groups and abilities, with the aim of giving the opportunity for groups to learn about the different and amazing marine life in our seas and oceans around the world.

Fistral Beach
