trip icon "A Countryside Christmas" is a full activity day which includes a chance to explore the Christmas journey with our elves, Jingles & Sprinkles, follow our Nativity Trail getting dressed up along the way, tackle exciting wintry team challenges, and even meet Santa in our fabulous grotto!

The day's learning focuses on developing skills and knowledge in science, literacy, art and PSHE. And it's great fun too.

It's only £13pp with a minimum charge of £390 for up to 30 pupils

What activities are available during educational visits?

A Countryside Christmas Day Visit includes and interpretive trail in our woodland, dressing up as shepherds, animals, angels, and Kings, meeting Father Christmas in our grotto, making a postcard to take home, and finding presents & baubles around the grounds to dress a Christmas tree.

This Christmas day visit includes a nativity-themed journey through the woodland. The children will dress up and follow clues around the grounds and woodland, discovering and reading the story together.

Our Christmas-themed visits are also available as 2 night residentials from £125pp for 2 nights / 3 days of activities, fun and learning.

All of our centres offer the chance to create, develop and explore a topic through outdoor exploration or the creative arts. Our residential and day visits are designed with the pace and content to introduce younger children to new experiences.

Who are Edgmond Hall?

Whether it's developing character or bringing a topic to life, our 43 acres of private woodland, gardens and fields is the perfect base for our team to take advantage of the surroundings and deliver an exciting, thematic, memorable learning experience. Edgmond Hall is a beautiful Georgian country farmhouse with small animals on site.

We offer the chance to create, develop and explore a topic through outdoor exploration or the creative arts. Our residential and day visits are designed with the pace and content to introduce younger children to new experiences.

We are part of Sandwell Residential Education Service. We exist to help children, young people and adults to lead happier and more successful lives.
