St Davids Bunk Barns School Trips
Pro-Active Adventure have been providing high quality adventurous activity breaks all across Wales since 2002. All our instructors are national governing body qualified and typically have at least three years post qualification experience. We deliver high level, real adventure experiences that take part in the natural environment, they are not all low level on site activities as many large providers deliver. All activity programmes are designed personally with you to ensure they best suited to meet the needs and ability of your pupil group.
Pro-Active Adventure work closely with Rob and Christine who successfully own and operate the St Davids Bunk Barns accommodation. Working as closely together as we do I believe we are able to deliver the best Activity Residential Visit you will find in the area. The accommodation is of a very high standard and all the food is prepared fresh on site using fresh local products by Rob and Christine. There are no mass production processed meals supplied by a bulk supplier on the menu, so you can be assured of good wholesome food. All dietary needs can be catered for.
For our part, we at Pro-Active Adventure can offer you all of our usual wide range of Pembrokeshire activities from here, plus additional activities not offered so often in Pembrokeshire. St Davids Bunk Barns are in fact, closer to many of the activity locations we use than anywhere else we operate from in Pembrokeshire, this maximises your time on activities, and less time driving round in a mini bus!
Why are Pro-Active Adventure great for School Trips and Educational Visits?
In my opinion this is the perfect location to base your activity residential because it is so close to all our main activity locations, thus cutting down on traveling time. The accommodation is situated on the wonderfull Pembrokeshire coastline with a secluded beach just two fields walk away, providing you with an oportunity for great self lead evening activities. The historic city of St Davids is just a short distance away. In fact you could make a day activity of following the Pembrokseshire Coastal path to St Davids. In the local area there is a wealth of history and places of interest to visit on your days off from high adventure!
From St Davids Bunk Barns we can deliver the following activities: Coasteering, Body Boarding, Sit On Kayaking, Climbing & Abseiling, Coastal Treks, Bush Craft, Archery, Orienteering, Mountaineering, Beach Craft, Rock Hopping, BMX skills and Team Initiative Exercises.
All your meals will be prepared fresh on site by Christine, she uses all the best, fresh local products to create good wholesome meals to keep you fuelled up for your adventurous activity visit. Your pupils will not leave Christine's kitchen wanting to go to the shops for extra snaks!
Terms and conditions for payment of your visit are very relaxed, and both Pro-Active and St Davids Bunk Barns understands the difficulty of getting payments in from families on time and the economical issues that effect some families. The final balance is not required until a month before your visit.
