Children will love discovering the super bouncy Giant Jumper, exploring the turrets of TreeTop Towers, taking their shoes and socks off for the BareFoot Trail or aiming for gold at Archery.
Lunch break: There are several snack bars on the Park as well as the Woodbarn Cafe selling everything from sandwiches, snacks, freshly cooked meals, ice cream and hot and cold drinks.

Which Curriculum Subjects do you cater for?
Wildlife surveys at GreenWood indicate we have a growing range of native flora, as well as different birds and invertebrates using the site. The bio-diversity of the site has increased significantly since we opened in 1993.
Every year, we undertake pro-active tree planting, coppicing, bramble control, pond construction and habitat creations.
We have many bird boxes around the park to encourage our native birds to breed here.
Otters have visited GreenWood in teh past, perhaps looking for food or for somewhere to make a home. To encourage them to return we have built them a new home, known as a holt.
Throughout the years many fascinating types of fungi are spotted here. During a Fungus Foray, a diverse list of almost 90 species of fungi was gathered in little more than an hour by approximately 30 foragers.
GreenWood Family Park is an award-winning family fun adventure park nestled in the foothills of Snowdonia in North Wales with over 30 rides and activities, celebrating the beauty of nature through eco-friendly and sustainable entertainment, using green energy produced by the sun, water and even humans.
Have you ever wondered where the ‘Green’ comes from in GreenWood? Well, it’s pretty simple really. We really care for our planet and so when our story started, we made it our mission to build a park to celebrate the beauty of nature in the most environmentally friendly way we could.
What size groups do you cater for?
For groups or school visits please contact the team for a bespoke package and price, prices start from as little as £10 per child with adults go free.
Is there first aid on site?
Our First Aid room is located in the Acorn Gift Shop near the Park entrance and most of the GreenWood team are first aid trained and will be happy to help.
Do you offer access for visitors with disabilities?
GreenWood has partial disabled access, and provides a really enjoyable day out each year for our many disabled visitors.
The Park has many areas fully accessible to either assisted or powered wheelchairs, including the Woodbarn Cafe & Play, Acorn Gift Shop, Birthday Party Room, toilets, boardwalks and slate paths.
GreenWood is, however, an Adventure Park and there are certain areas/rides and activities which a disabled visitor will find it difficult or impossible to access. In addition, there are height and age restrictions in place on some activities and rides. In advance or on the day of your visit, GreenWood staff will be only too happy to help with queries.
We have two wheelchairs which can be used by our visitors for their day out. It is best to ring before you come and book this in advance.
Do you cater for visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
GreenWood welcomes all children with any special educational needs. If your pupils love a thrilling day out enjoying rollercoasters and exploring, then GreenWood is the perfect place to visit!
Anything else?
Teachers can organise a familiarization visit with our team, and/or we can send risk assessments upon request.
GreenWood is a unique and fun learning environment, and being environmentally friendly has always been our mission.
Every year, we make consistent efforts to minimise the negative effects on the environment and maximise the positive. Over the last few years we have installed our own power generation system, a 150kW solar array. The array not only powers the new ride SolarSplash, but also provides around 80% of the Park’s annual power requirement.
Plus…
• Many of our food and drink containers are biodegradable.
• Our used cooking oil is processed into biodiesel.
• Our cardboard goes to an Anglesey company for recycling.
• We recycle all our office waste paper.
• We have planted an average of over 500 trees each year since we opened in 1993. The total number to date is over 10,000 trees, and we continue to plant more every year.
• We harvest 130 cubic metres of rainwater each year and use it for flushing toilets.
"Great place. Lots of open space and activities for the kids."
"There are so many different activities and areas to explore throughout the day; the green slide and treetop play area were favorites of our children! The park is well looked after and queuing time was minimal."
"Fantastic day. Lots of activities for children. Staff were welcoming. Service at cafe was well organised. No pressure to buy extras and lots of seating and picnic benches so you can bring your own food."
