Covering all of the UK, we charge a fixed rate for a day or half day in school and you can choose how you want us to break the time up. This means you can have anything from a full day session in one class to a series of shorter workshops that each year group can access.
At LoveScience we are passionate about getting children involved in practical science. We write bespoke workshops around all the curriculum areas including electricity, magnetism, materials, forensics, light and the human body to ensure you are getting a workshop that fits in to what the children are covering in school.
Bright Sparks Electricity - using the van der Graaff generator, making circuits and a take home project
Messy materials - how materials react, using smart materials and of course, slime!!
Forensics challenge - use various techniques to solve a dastardly crime!! This can be linked to other topic work ie, vikings, stone age, books etc
Brilliant Bodies - Looking at how our bodies work, covering various systems and even a heart dissection for the brave!
Tricks of the light - see how light behaves using prisms and lasers. See the effect of UV light using special paint and make colourful torches to show how the colours in light mix.
30 children per group
