Pupils Work individually, in groups and altogether to create one large structure, or remaining in groups make their own structure. e.g. bridge, shelter, sculpture. The teamwork and resilience needed helps develop pupils cooperative intelligence.Curriculum topics available: Pyramids and Tombs.
Pupils make small Pyramids individually, which are joined together in groups of five. these in turn are connected to make a larger pyramid. This is practise for the building of the finale huge Pyramid 4m high. Inbetween pupils take part in "moving the stone" a bit of drama where the class teacher usually plays the part of a piece of sandstone while they are rolled accross the floor on a sledge over rollers.Yes We certainly can.
