At the centre we offer flexible accommodation for your residential course, either in our Safari Village or Bunk Houses. Situated in the Hampshire countryside we are located on a 70-acre site, comprising woodland, grassed areas and lakes.
Activity programs can be tailor made to suit your groups preferred outcomes and all courses are individually made to suit your group requirements. We provide a full activity program from 9.45am-5.15pm with the option to buy an evening activity.
Our meals are freshly prepared every day by our head chef, Craig, and his team. We can cater for all special dietary requirments and allergies to ensure everyone enjoys a hot evening meal.
The majority of our school groups return year after year for their residential stays and day trips because of the experience and service we provide.

At Marwell Activity Centre we aim to deliver a personal service to help you plan your event. We pride ourselves on using our experience and knowledge to help build an enjoyable visit for all. We are available via email or on the phone for any questions you may have or information you may need prior to the event.
We have a variety of activities for all ages so using our experience and knowledge we will build a program to suit your needs.
Our activities are challenge by choice so our instructors are trained to encourage children to particpate without pushing. We may have a large team of instructors but the children and teachers do build rapports with them and offer support throughout the event.
Our Instructors are highly qualified in many different activities with national governing body qualifications and they all hold emergency first aid certificates. They are all DBS checked and have completed our induction process.
What activities are available during group visits?
Our programming manager, Megan, and her team would devise a program for you but below is a list of the some of the activities in may include;

We also offer an evening activity programme for those who book a residential stay with us so the children are kept busy into the evening. Dont forget the marshmallows!!!!
What size groups do you cater for?
The Bunk Houses can sleepup to 40-44 students and 4-8 leaders in Bunkhouse 1 and 34 students and 3 leaders in Bunkhouse 2.
We also have a safari village that can accommodate up to 144 students and up to 24 leaders.
If you are just wanting to visit the centre for a day trip we can accommodate a maximum of 200 students, subject to availability.
Do you offer on-site classroom facilities?
Yes, we have an events room that can be hired that will seat a maximum of 50/75 students, depending on style. We can provide projector and screen, flipcharts and pens in order for you to deliver a variety of workshops. We also have lots of outdoor space that can be used for workshops.
Is there first aid on site?
All of our instructors have the basic first aid at work qualification with our senior team having the REC Level 2 (NGB) qualification.
Do you offer access for visitors with disabilities?
Yes, disabled toilet and shower is available. Activities are restricted but please give us a call to discuss needs and requirements and we can try and accommodate.
Do you cater for visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
Yes, a bespoke package can be built to suit the needs.

Just wanted to say "thank you". This was our 2nd year of coming along and it was just as good as the first. All the kids had a great time and slept very well. Some of the kids are now wanting do to the Summer Day Camps. Thank you to everyone.
Special rates for schools
outside of peak season
Prices start at £132.50 per person
We offer an off-peak residential stay from October - March. It will include the same accommodation, food and activities just come outside June and July and pay a cheaper rate.
