Explore Outdoor is a mobile outdoor education company, part of the Abbeycroft Leisure Trust. We travel across East Anglia delivering activity sessions for schools, businesses and charities. All of our sessions are customised to the needs of our clients. Our flexible programmes allows us to run sessions for individuals or groups of 400.
Why are Explore Outdoor great for School Trips and Educational Visits?
Explore Outdoor activity sessions are great for schools as we bring the adventure to you. There are no transport costs, no additional teaching staff or volunteers’ needed and no worries about leaving a pupil behind at the end of the day! All of our days are planned with the school and the pupils in mind, whether you want us to come in for just an hour or provide a full week's activities.
What activities are available during group visits?
24ft Climbing Wall, Mountain Biking, Archery, Fire Lighting, Forest Schools, Shelter Building, Team Challenges
What size groups do you cater for?
1-400. We cater for any group size from one child up to 400. Discuss with us your needs and we will plan a session to meet your requirements and be cost effective.
Do you offer on-site classroom facilities?
All of our activities are designed to be run outside, however many can be taken into sports halls and classrooms. We come to you, we can work with the facilities you have to customise a day that suits your needs.
Is there first aid on site?
Yes. All of our staff are first aid trained.
Do you offer access for visitors with disabilities?
Yes, we can tailor our activities to include everyone.
Do you cater for visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
Yes, we encourage everyone to take part in our sessions
