Bentley Copse is located in the heart of the Surrey Hills, combining environmental and key skill learning alongside challenging and rewarding adventure activities.
Our Activity programmes are for all ages. All activities encourage life skills and personal development and always include elements of communication, team working, decision making and self awareness.
From small groups of 12 pupils to year groups of up to 220 pupils.
We can cater for 240 in tented camp and 38 in buildings, this number is split across three buildings.
All staff hold a valid first aid qualification.
We have an accessible toilet and showers in one of the buildings.
If you are bringing more than 150 children you will have the centre to yourselves as we do have a unique set up at Bentley Copse.
We have many schools using Bentley Copse for their residential experiences, many of these return year after year. All schools receive a tailored activity programme of activities. These packages are created in conjunction with the trip leaders and can range from shooting arrows in Archery to flying through the air on our Zip Wire.
Teachers can opt for one of our packages which include accommodation, activities and catering or design your own programme and choose all the options they require.
Our aim is to enable young people to develop through taking part in outdoor activities in a fun and safe environment. This simple aim has led us to develop our Centre that rivals commercially run Centres in terms of both facilities and activity provision.
