Why are Scout Adventures great for School Trips and Educational Visits?

Great Tower offers 250 acres of woodland and rocky crags, perfect for hiking and climbing. Hawkhirst is one of the best dark sky locations in the UK offering magical stargazing. Our adventure packages are not just heaps of fun, there are also many benefits associated with the type of outdoors experience we offer. These adventures help young people to develop the character skills they need to become leaders of the future.

Activities available during group visits

Canoeing, Sailing, Raft building, Climbing and Archery are just some of the activities offered at these 2 centres. Our packages include 'Original Outdoor Experience', 'Outdoor Adventure', 'Adventure 50:50' and Ultimate Outdoor Adventure'. They help young people learn resilience, respect, responsibility, trust, confidence, co-ordination, motivation, practical skills and much much more.
