Pre History Trips at Beeston Castle
School Trips @ English Heritage
Beeston Castle with its impressive location and natural defences has been home to prehistoric settlers, great barons, it's acted as a defence against aristocratic rivals and it's even been an important English Civil War stronghold.
Can your class gather the evidence and clues to discover what life was like in and around Beeston Castle centuries ago? Take in the stunning views, explore the evidence of castle life and take your class right back to Medieval times or investigate the prehistoric landscape and look at artefacts found on site in the museum.
Why are English Heritage great for School Trips and Educational Visits?
Take learning outside with a trip to Beeston Castle to bring learning to life across the curriculum.
We offer two expert-led Discovery Visits at just £100 per class; KS2 Prehistoric Settlers, where your class can try prehistoric crafts and investigate life in an Iron Age hill fort, or KS1/KS2 Fortress Castle, where students can dress up, handle artifacts and explore medieval castle life. Alternatively, lead your own class visit for FREE.
