Parkwood Outdoors for Residential School Trips and Educational Visits?
School residential trips are a great way to help young people grow in confidence, gain new life skills and create long lasting fun memories.
At Parkwood Outdoors we offer over 20 outdoor activities including gorge walking, kayaking, raft building, caving and much more.
Transport is included for all our offsite activities and you can choose if you would like the course to be linked to the National Curriculum or focused on teamwork, social skills, the environment or conservation.

What activities are available during group visits?
Activities available include games and projects, kayaking and canoeing, climbing, caving, gorge walking, raft building and much more.
What size groups do you cater for?
We cater for any group size and have a large number of instructors, allowing us to work with everyone from small groups to much larger numbers.
Do you offer on-site classroom facilities?
There is an onsite Learning Centre for classroom based activities available that includes a projector.
Is there first aid on site?
Yes, all of our instructors are First Aid trained.
Do you offer access for visitors with disabilities?
Our luxury Chalet is the latest edition to Dolygaer and provides high quality accommodation for up to 22 students and four staff members while on site. This newly converted building also has two rooms that are fully accessible to disabled students with features such as a large wet room and complies with all Disability Discrimination Act requirements.
All rooms are en suite with combo of twin/bunk beds.
There is also a lounge area and communal kitchen providing option for self catering or catering from the main lodge.
Do you cater for visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
