Why
book 'Lochgoilhead National Activity Centre' for Residential School Trips and Educational Visits?
We see outdoor learning as a key opportunity to encourage pupils to gain knowledge and skills through real life experiences, breaking down the barriers of a traditional classroom and opening the doors to personal development.
We bring the Curriculum for Excellence (Scotland) to life for your pupils through a variety of programmes with many different experiences and outcomes. We have years of experience working with a wide range of ages and abilities, catering for the individual needs of learners by encouraging them to step out of their comfort zone and take measured risks in a supportive environment.
We are licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Service, are a member of the Institute of Outdoor Learning, and an approved provider with many education authorities. We’re also recognised by a number of education and outdoor learning partners including the Open Air Laboratories (OPAL) citizen science initiative, the John Muir Award, and Learning Away, a nationally recognised campaign for promoting outdoor education.
We are also an Approved Activity Provider for expeditions and residentials with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme.
