With sole occupancy available for groups, Plas Gwynant is a converted mansion house set in 20 acres of parkland at the heart of Snowdonia. We provide great facilities with a real feel, aiming to make all visitors feel part of our family.
Once at Plas Gwynant most of the activities are on our doorstep so little time is spent travelling to & from activities. We want to maximise your time with us. In addition, we aim to have the same staff work with the activity groups for the whole visit so that the activities can be tailored to the needs of individuals and the group; we adjust the level of challenge to suit.
All of our activities are physically active and we reflect on the importance of moving more for wellbeing. We can also deliver specific curriculum units, such as GCSE PE or OCR L2 Nationals.
Curriculum topics available: Teamwork and resilience, Mental health and awareness.
Our programmes develop skills and attributes such as resilience, self-esteem, risk-management, teamworking and critical thinking skills. We apply the "Feelgood 6" tools to help us to lead happier and more successful lives.
In our bushcraft area we look at the ways that fires can be created, and we build dens and shelters in the woodland.
We are set amongst the mountains, rivers, valleys and beaches of the Snowdonia National Park, and our highly qualified staff can help you achieve all kinds of fieldstudy activities.
