Whether you are bringing your class for a reward trip, focussed learning day or a mixture of the both, Paultons Park is the ideal venue. Paultons is home to over 70 rides, attractions and animals, set in 140 acres of beautiful gardens.
Take a workshop in Professor Blast’s Learning Lab. This highly themed immersive classroom ‘attraction’ will capture student’s imagination and provide a stunning setting for a curriculum-based session. Hands-on learning is encouraged in our ‘Science Explorer’ activity, where the physics behind the rides comes to life through a series of interactive exhibits.
Other workshops in the lab include ICT – Ride Control where students programme their very own K’NEX SkySwinger using a laptop and Flow Go control box. We also run a popular half-day workshop called “Feel the Force” where students are led on a tour of the park to discover (and experience) a range of forces for themselves.
Our animals are also very special to us, and our 'Meet the Mini-beasts' workshop allows children to get up close to a range of invertebrates in sessions which are designed to meet National Curriculum requirements.
For older students we run series of focussed presentations including customer service, marketing and ICT. All presentations are supported by student booklets and a CD containing resources.
