Burwell House School Trip

Residential Trip Residentials East of England

trip icon Our Centre provides a fantastic setting for residential courses for all ages. It's a lovely house with fab gardens and each visiting school has the reassurance and security of being the only school staying here.

For KS1 or KS2 pupils we have a very wide range of activities and offer an entirely non-prescriptive approach to planning your course. Many curriculum areas are covered, including Environmental Science, History, Geography and Art, all led by our qualified and expereinced teaching staff. In addition our on-site TV studio, our array of Orienteering and Teambuilding activities, and the space to play & explore in the fantastic gardens provide a memorable school visit.

Many Secondary aged school groups use our Centre as a venue to run courses of their own leading - making full use of the wonderful gardens and indoor spaces to run drama, music and art 'retreats' or other curriculum area revision type courses. These are backed up as necessary with assistance from our teacihig staff and the same high quality catering service.

"it was so amazing, and i think that it would really put a really big smile on somebody's face if they stayed at Burwell house.you may be a little nervous when you get there but,it's normal to feel like that .when you get there you will be greeted by one of the lovely staff members.i would definitely recommend going to Burwell house.if i could rate burwell house i would rate it 100/10. there is lots of fun games to play at Burwell house like -the snail game -the Burwell house fox game -sardines -hide and seek -hide and seek it and best of all you get to have a campfire. Burwell house is a brilliant place for you if you are as stealthy as a fox. it is also good if you need somewhere to hide because it is tree mania at burwell house!do you like mansions well if you do then you are in for some luck today. it may seem quite small from the outside world but, when you get in side you will be completely blown away. they have lots of rooms like: -drove -becket -rodden -ouze -snail -cam -webb -walace -pike -colchester thank you BURWELL HOUSE for treating us so, nicely and giving up you spare time looking after us and orgonising lot's of wonderful activities and cooking such nice potato wedges."
