Our programme offers a wide variety of bespoke workshops, school visits to productions, technical demonstrations, and enriching pre- and post-show discussions with directors and cast members. At Playbox, we are passionate about the profound benefits that theatre and the arts bring to young people’s lives. From improving exam performance to enhancing communication skills, fostering creativity, and nurturing self-expression, we believe that the arts play a vital role in every child’s education. As author Philip Pullman says, “Stories are the most important things in the world… they can make us feel and think and be more human.” Through our tailored experiences, we work alongside schools to create unique, dynamic opportunities that are fully integrated into your educational goals.

Our mission is simple: to offer experiences that enrich the curriculum, stimulate young minds, and provide tools that extend beyond the classroom. Whether it’s a hands-on workshop, an in-depth theatre visit, or a focused discussion, we are dedicated to creating a memorable, meaningful impact on the lives of young people.

Playbox Theatre is unique—we exist purely for young people. The young are the beating heart of everything we do, and we remain unwavering in our commitment to putting the value of the arts at the centre of young people’s education. Together with schools, we strive to foster an environment where the imagination can flourish, and where every student’s potential can be realised.
