In just 60 minutes, our talented cast of professional performers will take children on an unforgettable journey as Freya, a fearless young explorer, sets sail from Norway to Britain. Along the way, she encounters legendary warriors, treacherous battles, and the clash of Viking and Anglo-Saxon worlds. With daring exploits, engaging storytelling, and fascinating historical insights, this adventure is both educational and entertaining.

Perfect for KS1 and KS2, this interactive performance immerses children in the rich history of the Vikings, making learning both fun and memorable.

Invaders and Settlers Viking Raids and Invasion Viking Trade Mythology and Culture

This exciting, curriculum-linked performance brings the Viking Age vividly to life through interactive theatre. Students join Freya, a brave young Norse girl, as she challenges gender roles, encounters gods and raiders, and sails across the sea in search of treasure. Along the way, children explore Viking life, language, longships, beliefs, and daily struggles—engaging directly with historical content through storytelling, song, and roleplay. Our immersive format helps embed key facts while building empathy, curiosity, and understanding of Viking culture. Ideal for KS2 history, this unforgettable experience reinforces classroom learning in a creative, accessible way.


What size groups do we cater for?

No maximum size for the performance.

Access for visitors with disabilities

We come to you and all disabilities are welcome.

Visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

We offer Relaxed Introductions, Touch Tours, Social Stories and Makaton. While we aren't able to provide BSL translations for our performances, we are happy to provide a copy of our script in advance so that should you have an onsite BSL translator you would like to use, they are able to familiarise themselves with our material before the show.
