BUSHCRAFT & SURVIVAL includes emergency survival skills, navigation and signalling help, shelter building, campfire skills, water collection and purification, campfire cooking and basic emergency first aid. What size groups do we cater for?

Oxenwood has a 38 bed capacity in four dormitory rooms for residential bookings. The Centre also has an additional 6-8 bed capacity for group .

On-site classroom facilities?

We offer exclusive access to the Centre and facilities overnight groups and day groups using the classroom.

Is there first aid on site?

Yes.

Additionally, we offer a range of first aid training courses at Oxenwood Outdoor Education Centre, some courses can also be delivered remotely. Training courses are suitable for schools, youth groups and organisations. We can offer training for people with no first aid experience as well as refresher and requalification training.
Courses offered include First Aid at Work, Paediatric First Aid, First Aid for Mental Health and First Aid for Youth Mental Health. Courses range from 2 hours up to 3 full days of first aid training. During your course, you will be assessed by a qualified trainer and receive a certificate on completion.

Access for visitors with disabilities

Yes. We can work with groups of all ages and abilities.

Visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Yes. Please contact us for more information about how we can support visitors with disabilities, additional needs or learning differences.
