Xplore! has almost two decades of experience in inspiring young minds when it comes to the world of STEAM, creating an outstanding experience for both pupils and teachers.

What activities are available during this school workshop?

We offer 40 different STEM workshops and shows from foundation through KS4. Introducing learners to scientific concepts. Our activities include; introducing foundation phase to how toys work, KS2 to material science and KS3 to boolean logic. And every key stage loves our inflatable planetarium that immerses learners in the stars above!

Logic and Problem Solving, Measurement, Shape. Our education programme introduces foundation phase and KS1 learners to simple maths concepts such as shape and money. Our workshops are designed to engage and enthuse pupils in the world of maths and leave them with a better understanding of the subject.

We've a number of different activities to cover all aspects of Physics. This includes workshops, live science shows and lab sessions in centre. We have worked closely with the UK space agency, UKRI and ASDC to develop space workshops. Covering living and working in space, satellites and our ever popular stardome.

Xplore! Nature is an educational forest school site at Northop. Xplore! Nature focuses on hands-on and experimental learning in natural environments.

At Xplore! Nature children are encourages to explore the outdoors with STEAM in mind.

Experiences at Xplore! Nature allow children to develop a sense of independence, environmental responsibility and practical life skills that excel beyond the classroom.


What size groups do we cater for?

Our maximum capacity for group bookings is 30 (6 Groups)

Access for visitors with disabilities

Of course! We are able to cater to learners with disabilities, just let us know prior to booking and we will be happy to help.

Visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

We offer a range of activities for SEN schools, our staff are also SEN trained. Xplore! is committed to making every single one of our sessions as inclusive as possible. With this in mind we are able to accommodate a wide range of additional needs both in our science discovery centre and at schools. All of our activities can be adjusted to meet the needs of the learners.
