Gweithdy Rhyfel Byd Cymru World War Wales Workshops
Medieval Wales workshop brings Medieval history to life through hands on, fun activities and talks! We start with a talk on themes such as Castles, the Plague, Punishments, Medicine, Entertainment, Education/Toys, and Knights/Tournaments, all whilst showing and passing around items from the era! This also includes 2 activities, a jousting practice challenge, and learning a Medieval dance! Our second half includes dressing up in knight and princess costumes, getting locked up in our stocks, trying on armour/helmets, holding real shields and swords, as well as getting to look and hold even more artefacts. To finish, learn more and ask as many questions as you like with our Q and A!

What activities are available during this school workshop?
Jousting practice - using a toy lance, children will be split into 2, and run from one end of the hall to the other and try to get the lance through a small hoop

Step back to the Middle ages and learn about knights, castles, medicine, punishments and much more with fun jousting and dancing activities, dress up, trying on real armour and helmets, holding real swords and shields, seeing and touching artefacts and more!
What size groups do we cater for?
1.5 hour session for up to 35 children (1 class)

Yes, we cater for all children, and can change our workshops around if needed
Anything else?
Our workshops are 1.5 hour sessions for 1 class (up to 35 children), we also offer other sessions if needed, please ask if you'd prefer longer sessions or sessions throughout the day.
