Our WW2 workshop is currently run by two workshop leaders due to it's popularity! The day starts with a story to hook your children in to their exciting day ahead. Your children will then be lead by Matt or Adam through a well-organised, fully resourced day filled with relevant and detailed content shared at an age appropriate level. The workshop includes a range of hands-on activities and opportunities to explore different aspects of History!

Which Curriculum Subjects do you cater for?

We run all workshops as experimental archaeologists, and many of our activities focus on using archaeological and enquiry skills. We provide opportunities for comparison between different historical eras to heighten the understanding of the era.

Curriculum topics available: War and the British Empire, Technological developments, War Propaganda, Air Raids Blitz and Battle of Britain, The Home Front.

The workshop covers a range of topics within WW2 to keep your children engaged throughout the day! By exploring primary and secondary sources, the children will have hands on opportunities to explore technology and propaganda of the time. After break, the children become secret agents, learn how to communicate without telephones and train to join the British Army!

Who are Primary History Workshops?

We are a small, family run company that delivers KS2 workshops across the country!

Collectively we have been teaching primary school children for over 40 years, and love what we do. We pride ourselves on the quality of our workshops as well as the quantity of the artefacts that we provide. Your children will be engaged throughout any of our workshops, with our interactive, and practical activities!
