Our workshop founder Adam will lead the children through the day exploring life in the Tudor era. Adam has been a teacher for years before running workshops full time, so he knows how to keep a classroom of excited children focused as well as sharing a plethora of information in a child-appropriate way! Your workshop will be filled with activities to keep all of your children engaged through the day with lots of item-handling activities throughout!

Which Curriculum Subjects do you cater for?

The workshop begins with the War of the Roses and continues from there chronologically through the era! The workshop covers the monarchy at the time, Tudor jobs and leisure activities for both the rich and poor. Throughout the day, the children will have artefacts to help them better explore the Tudor era.We run all workshops as experimental archaeologists, and many of our activities focus on using archaeological and enquiry skills. We provide opportunities for comparison between different historical eras to heighten the understanding of the era.

Who are Primary History Workshops?
We are a small, family run company that delivers KS2 workshops across the country!
Collectively we have been teaching primary school children for over 40 years, and love what we do. We pride ourselves on the quality of our workshops as well as the quantity of the artefacts that we provide. Your children will be engaged throughout any of our workshops, with our interactive, and practical activities!
