Why book
'The Pollution Solution - Sustainability and Air Quality' with Big Wheel Theatre Company
'The Pollution Solution' was originally commissioned by a London borough concerned about the the problem of air pollution in their area. They felt that there was a strong need to raise awareness and alert pupils to the issues surrounding air pollution.
'The Pollution Solution' begins by looking at the causes of global warming and air pollution. It goes on to show how our transport choices affect the World, Your Local Area and You, successfully demonstrating the problems whilst offering a variety of solutions that pupils can practice in their daily lives.
It sounds a bit serious and alarming but don’t worry we tackle these issues in our own unique, interactive and fun show biz style. We steer clear of doom and gloom and focus on the facts and the positive actions students can take themselves.
“A fantastic balance of education, entertainment and humour. The two presenters worked incredibly well together. All information was relevant to us. The children were kept engaged and enthusiastic at all times. We loved how they were included.”

'The Pollution Solution' has become one of our most popular workshops as schools and local authorities become more concerned about the effects of global warming and air pollution on our communities.
The main focus of the workshop is on how our travel choices affect the quality of the air in the world and our local area. We cover the main pollutants, Nitrogen Dioxide, Carbon Dioxide, Methane, Water Vapor and particulates, where they come from and the role they play in global warming.
Students are challenged to think about how they can travel more sustainably in order to improve the air quality in their own communities.

Our audience maximum is 60 students.

Our workshops are very interactive, students are encouraged to take part, speak out etc and it can become rather overwhelming when there are too many of them.

Yes of course - we work in a flexible way that allows for the easy adaptation of our sessions to students of all abilities.
