Primary School 'Suitcase Storyteller Christmas Adventures' Tour 2025 Workshop

ReachOut Educate

School Workshop West Midlands Shropshire

trip icon We are SO excited to announce after 2 years of SELL OUT Christmas touring shows, our Christmas tour for 2025 is now open to book!

Our suitcase storytellers have packed up their suitcases, got their woolly hats and scarves and snow boots, and are ready to take you and you and your school on a festive adventure like no other! Will you end up at the North Pole? At the bottom of a pile of presents? Half way down a chimney? Or at Elf training school? With our fabulous storytellers the adventure never stops, and this interactive immersive show with PLENTY of audience interaction and fun is the perfect festive treat bought straight to your school over the Christmas period! We also pride ourselves on delivering performances that allow some children who may find some settings overwhelming, to embrace and engage in their own school setting, and hopefully equipping them with the experience and fun to visit and enjoy theatre and live entertainment fully in the future!!

Aimed at Primary school ages from 3-11 across the West Midlands & Shropshire, with multiple performances per venue available, take the stress out of trip planning and let our storytellers come to you!

Performance dates available - 1st December 2025 - 19th December 2025!

Our performance is self-contained, so you don't need to provide anything apart from somewhere for us to plug our speaker/lights in, a performance space (a school hall works best!) and of course, an audience!

The show will last approximately 45 minutes and includes an introduction to storytelling and Pantomime and encourages all students to get involved throughout the whole show!

Performances can be booked for a full school or depending on school size we encourage schools to book 2x performances for KS1 & KS2 to allow all students to have the best experience and younger students not to feel too overwhelmed!

If you wanted to add a little something extra to your day, we can also provide follow up worksheets and activity ideas to continue the Panto fun in the classroom after!

Where we travel to

We can visit your school in:

What activities are available during this school workshop?

During this in-school visit you can expect a lively, engaging and interactive pantomime performance of Little Red Riding Hood. The performance includes a short presentation called "Introduction to Panto", in which the actors will explain, demonstrate and encourage the children in learning and understanding the traditional actions in this style of live performance.

Which curriculum topics do we cater for?

green tick Performing Arts Workshop

This live in-school performance is a great way to introduce the concept and topic of performing arts to Key Stage 1 & 2 students. Pantomime and live theatre is sometimes a child's first glimpse of theatre and it has it's own set of unwritten rules and traditions to follow. During the 45 minute performance the students are encouraged to express themself threw sound, creating sound effects with voice and body, and the class will then have plenty of opportunities to be vocal and enjoy the unique blend of pantomime and storytelling!

green tick Christmas Workshop

The 'Suitcase Storyteller Christmas Adventures' take students on a fun and interactive festive adventure! A mix of traditional festive Pantomime and storytelling theatre, the show allows students to have a theatrical experience or introduction to theatre, without the overwhelming theatre space in a safe and comfortable space with approachable and loveable characters!

green tick English Workshop

Creative writing Fairy tales Myths and Legends Story writing Storytelling

The show focuses on the ability to story tell and story make. Allowing students to be a part of the process they are encouraged to help with ideas, narrative and collective storytelling in a creative and theatrical way and spoken word! There is also the added value of learning about the theatre, pantomime and spoken word! There is also the opportunity to have supporting activites page and work for students to complete at a later time in their classrooms!

What size groups do we cater for?

We are more than happy to provide performances for one class, split Key stages or the whole school. Whether that is with 2 performances back to back or one performance for all.

Access for visitors with disabilities

Yes, we cater for children of all abilities and can adapt our sessions for full inclusivity.

Visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

We are more than happy to adapt our performances to ensure inclusivity, our performances also include some element of Makaton signing and as we are self contained and 2 actor perormance we are able to adapt volume levels and some script to enahnce the experience for your students.

Anything else?

We have a 'not one size fits all'' approach with any prospective school, group or club. If you need something specific for your school visit, just give us a call to chat about how we can help you!
