Code Created's Introduction to Coding Workshop is a great way to get pupils started with code. Using visual programming tools such as MakeCode, Kodu and Minecraft HoC, we'll teach the fundamentals of programming through fun projects and challenges!Using visual programming languages, we will teach young pupils about coding fundamentals through experimentation. We'll encourage them to play, and have fun, as they learn how to animate characters, create simple game mechanics, and learn coding basics!

Coding Game Design
Not only is this workshop a great introduction to coding, it is also a fantastic way for young children to learn basic computer skills including drag-and-drop, basic creation of graphics through pixel-art, navigating software, safely using a web browser, left and right clicking functionality and more.
What size groups do we cater for?
A class-sized group (up to 30). For this workshop, we would recommend a half-day session, and so we can work with more than one class in a day.
Groups with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND)
We run our workshop with students of all abilities and regularly work with SEN students, specialist schools and groups. Please contact us to discuss this.
