Gloji Energy offer fun, engaging and educational assemblies, that are free for schools! Our assemblies include educating the children about different food groups, getting them moving and finally relaxing through breathing exercises.The assemblies will include an engaging presentation with questions around healthy living which the children can answer. Throughout the assembly we get the children engaged with different movements (on the spot - don't worry!), volunteers to select food cards and place them in the correct food category and finally practising breathing techniques, to calm and relax the children before going back to class.

Which Curriculum Subjects do you cater for?
Physical Education
During our assemblies we discuss the importance of physical activity and that is why we have a section of our assembly getting the whole school moving. We cover this because exercise and movement is an important part of leading a healthy lifestyle.
Food topics: Nutrition and healthy diets, Where food comes from, Preparing food and cooking techniques.
Our assembly offer looks at nutrition for children, looking at the eat well guide and illustrating to children what sort of foods they should be eating and in what quantity. We encourage children to think about their favourite fruits and vegetables and how they can add these into their meals on a regular basis.
SEN topics: Autistic Spectrum, Emotional and Behavioural Disorders, General Learning Difficulties, Dyslexia Dyscalculia and Dyspraxia, Visual Impairment, Physical and Mobility, Fully Wheelchair Accessible, Partially Wheelchair Accessible, Disabled Toilet Access.

What size groups do you cater for?
We offer these assemblies to everyone in primary school and only year 7's in secondary schools.
Do you offer access for visitors with disabilities?
We welcome all children to join in as much as they can during our assemblies.
Do you cater for visitors with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
Again, all children are welcome to join in as much as they can and whatever they feel comfortable doing.
