Why book
'Significant Women' with One Day Creative
One Day is a forward-thinking creative education company, connecting children and learning with creativity and imagination. The achievements of men have often dominated our history books, but there are many amazing women whose stories also deserve to be told.
In this empowering women-in-history workshop for KS1, your pupils will be joined by a One Day facilitator, using drama and discussion to learn about the lives of four trailblazing women: Ada Lovelace (mathematician), Amelia Earhart (aviator), Malala Yousafzai (education activist) and Mary Seacole (nurse). These four 1-hour workshops can be delivered to the same class, or you can pick 'n' mix across the day to deliver different workshops for up to four different classes.
