Why book
'ROMANS ARE HERE!'
Our Roman day looks not only at the soldiers of the army but also how they conquered Britain.
With our miniature build of a legionary camp, we look at what goes on in those buildings and see what it's like to live in the Roman period from religion to hygiene, from food to pastimes. These are ALL things to try.
Apart from training as soldiers with our child safe weapons you will discover what it takes to be a soldier on the march from the weight of the kit to what he carried in his kit bag and how he used his weapons of war!
At the end of the day we get our catapult in action for our Roman quick fire quiz!
This is NOT sit and watch, this IS get up and do!
