We are hoping to be visiting schools by mid June, July at the latest. Please contact for more information!
World War Wales Workshop is a brand new workshop company, that caters to children of key stage 2, in schools around South Wales and offers online workshops to schools in all parts of Wales. Our main workshop brings the history of World War 2 to life, we explore living in the 1940s, what to do during a Blitz, how rationing worked and much more! We also offer two other workshops, Celtic Wales and Medieval Wales, where children can learn about life as a Celt during the Iron Age, and what living was like in the Middle Ages. These workshops will be coming soon!
World War Wales Workshop's online workshops brings fun and exciting learning through the screen! With real items from the 1940s for the children to see, thrilling activities to take part in, interesting discussions and a quick q and a, and in the end, we might even have time for a gripping quiz!
Mae ei'n gweithdy hefyd yn cael eu gwneud trwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg!
Not only do we offer online sessions, but we also visit your school too! Please take a look at our school visit page or visit our website for more information!
Our online workshop shows many different items through the war, from inside an Evacuees suitcase, to items a Warden had in his office. We also do activities like how to keep safe during a Blitz! Our discussions range from the different shelters that were used during a Blitz, how rationing worked, what a blackout was and much more! You can choose from a range of themes, such as the Blitz, Evacuees, Animals at War, Rationing or life in the 1940s. If there's time, we can also have a Q and A or a quiz to finish up the workshop!
